FABRICS

Every single piece of Wicked Swim is made with high quality Italian carvico VITA from recycled fabrics. MADE WITH REPREVE (recycled fibres). By recovering waste, we are proud that we can bring you groovy psychedelic swim, surf & active wear from waste plastic. You can be proud knowing your new swimwear has just saved some plastic bottles from entering the landfill.

FABRIC CARE

To ensure that your new swimwear is in its best quality for as long as you have them, then please use these simple instructions to care for you swimwear!

  •  Please hand wash in cold water.

  • Hang dry me in the shade.

  • Do not tumble dry me, dry clean me, iron or use bleach on me.

ECO-INKS FOR PRINT

We also use 100% eco-inks which does not pollute or damage the environment with production, no leaks of toxins in the water & also your human body not absorbing toxic inks from your swimwear!

MANUFACTURING ETHICS

We only engage with suppliers that believe in the same practices as what we believe in. That means they all have ethical and fair work practices as well as a conformity with their legal environmental procedures. We stand by our commitment that none of our pieces have or will ever be made by any children or forced labour in unfair conditions. We believe all workers must be paid fairly, work fair hours and receive the legal amount of holiday time in a safe working environment. 

By supporting wicked swim you are also supporting donations that proceeds from every bikini, design and starter kit that Wicked swim has ordered from the manufacturer to grassroots organisations that support the environment, women's access to education and those in need. And the manufacturer has also implemented business development and hiring practices that raise the standards for women, health and income in the industry.

STATEMENT FROM MANUFACTURER

For our wicked x lucid collection this is the statement from our manufacturer we worked with! “We far exceed minimum labour standards in our business, production and sourcing practices. All staff are paid above award wages at up to three times the standard; they negotiate their own contracts and salaries. Everyone is provided with comprehensive health insurance for themselves and their family and are paid an extra month of salary annually. Working hours are less than 40 hours per week, meal allowance is included and any overtime (voluntary) is paid accordingly. All according to Indonesian Manpower regulation. We also have a profit sharing scheme that is paid annually, of which staff at all levels are included. We pride ourselves in ongoing worker engagement in business development and decision making; and provide opportunities in worker training, capacity building and personal development. Business English training by EF is also offered for free on a regular basis. We also arrange free Zumba dancing 💃 and soccer practice ⚽️ for all our staff who would like to join.”
